You can also learn about stones here, and I do provide stone consultations, where I help and suggest/pair you with your appropriate 'soul stone'... I'm a dreamer, thrill seeker, nerd/geek, social butterfly, sometimes a shy a goofball, a people person, animal whisperer, a loving and forgiving deep soul, an artist, painter, designer, again... a textile designer, a sketcher. I just love to use my hands... Some say I'm a present Renaissance woman, a jack of all trades, a hippy, a gypsy, wild flower - sometimes a wall flower, and again, a dreamer, and a believer. I love to design, and more than anything, I love to bring a smile to your face, or fill your eyes with awe - humbly, as I intrigue you with designs, stone information, and etc. or create a conversation piece. I get my inspiration from nature, love, existing, those who are special in my life, the one I love, weather, colors, shapes, the ocean, sunrises and sunsets, stars and mostly from Arizona, where I was born and raised. A lot of my inspiration in jewelry design comes from Arizona and the beauty of the south west. Have you ever caught a glimpse of a sunset or sunrise in the summer dawns??? It's beautiful. Back to Basics… Back to the Genesis of Artisan Handcrafted Designs…

2012 will be about returning back to the basics or organics and being the true artisan that I am and started out as years ago. Somewhere along the way, I got a bit distracted and mildly lost my focus on what true design should be or look like. Well, it’s back and I’ve been so hard at work that it’s scary… 

Many of you sent me questions and requests, asking if I could make more rings, bangles, bracelets and earrings styles…  And it looks like many of your wishes will be granted for 2012… I’ve already started. 

I had to do so much research and soul searching within myself to prepare for this process or design and giving you the customer/friend/supporter what you wanted and have been dreaming of… 

So stay tuned for the natural, esoteric, artisan styled, handmade ideals of my 2012 designs. I have been doing a lot of research on how things and jewelry items were made in the old west and mid plains states. I’m talking old school metal-smithing/gold smithing/silver smithing primitive practices. I’m originally from Arizona and I was born and raised there, so a lot of my inspiration comes from there.  Sooo many of my styles come from my mixed blood of Native American and Brazilian heritage (plus so much more). Arizona is the genesis of my design and rock hounding. I learned so much from that place and it’s deeply interwoven into the fabric of my very being. Nearly everything I do, or design is inspired by the old southwest, and this ranges from colors, shapes, styles and conversation pieces with a soul and purpose.

Art of ‘any medium has a intrinsic, soul healing, and spiritual purpose on this earth. Art also has a soul and one must have a true passion and devotion to their work, in order to give their art a face and soul. I think it’s important that one must also believe in their work, and in themselves to instill passion, clarity, and a voice in their pieces. Does this make any sense to you??? Also, any art medium is about love and kindness… It’s impossible to design and not love yourself or others… 

Maybe it’s late and maybe I’m rambling, but please stay tuned. I plan to do so much more for 2012. 

It’s now 11:27 and I’ve had a long and beautiful day. I’m sorry for not blogging more, but I’ve been really, really, really busy. So bare with me. Think of others. Be kind always. Respect everyone always. Don’t fret the petty things and don’t make mountains out of mole hills. Hope everything has a beautiful tomorrow (Friday) and weekend.
